Expense Tracking
TimeMerlin allows an easy, online way for users to enter their expenses. Users can enter detailed expense items that can be charged to different projects, and capture the expense type, the exact date, amount of that expense and detailed description. Multiple expense items can be rolled up into a consolidated expense report.
Administrators can review and process the invoices as appropriate (approve/reject/mark as paid, etc).
Flexible Reports: One of the biggest benefits of online expense reports is the wealth of information that can be extracted from the data. For example, if you were to know that 60% of your expenses are airline tickets, you may decide it to be worthwhile to have a dedicated travel agent to help your users with expenses. (Or, equivalently, you may decide to reassign your travel agent to be an advertising specialist if 60% of your costs are social media advertising costs.) Below is an example of expense incurred categorized by users.
